Wessling, August 5th 2016 - European Commission supports TresClean, a ground-breaking research project developing world’s first self-cleaning metals with high-power lasers
RAYLASE contributes to the TresClean project as member of the consortium. TresClean stands for “High ThRoughput lasEr texturing of Self-CLEANing and antibacterial surfaces”. The innovative research project strives to create a highly fluid-repellent and antibacterial surface. The concept is inspired by organic structures found in nature. Precisely controlled high-power lasers will be key to create such surface.
Therefore, RAYLASE AG, a global expert for laser beam deflection units and control techniques for laser material processing has been taken into the projected consortium of academic and industrial partners.
