RAYLASE, a leading provider of high-precision beam steering solutions for industrial laser applications, is expanding its presence in the United States with new operations based in California. With this move, the company is strengthening its footprint in key North American markets and moving closer to customers in some of the world’s most dynamic high-tech industries.
The expansion builds on the existing U.S. subsidiary RAYLASE Laser Technology Inc. and reflects growing demand from sectors such as semiconductor manufacturing, additive manufacturing, aerospace, and e-mobility. In particular, the new West Coast presence will support customers in growth areas including AI-related semiconductor applications and photovoltaic production.

Experienced Leadership for West Coast Operations
The new California operations are led by Jan Bernd “JB” Habedank, who brings extensive experience in laser technology and application development. Previously Head of the Technical Competence Center at RAYLASE, Habedank holds a Ph.D. in laser materials processing of lithium-ion battery materials and has played a key role in advancing application-driven solutions within the company.
