The UHSS-II’s model-based, digital control offers extremely dynamic responses with facet correction of the very lightweight X and Y mirrors made of silicon carbide in a square working field. The deflection unit’s mirror position, polygon speed and status information can be queried at any time using the SP-ICE-3 control card. The revolution speed for the polygon that rotates at extremely high speeds can be freely selected at values between 500 rpm and 4,000 rpm, enabling very flexible and precise process configuration.
The deflection unit enables the use of F-Theta lenses with focal lenses of 100 mm to 640 mm. Telecentric lenses can also be used. The lenses and lightweight SC scan mirrors are available for a wide range of laser types and for the wavelengths 532 nm, 1,030 nm and 1,064 nm.
