BOARD EXPANDED
Wessling, April 27th 2016 – On February 1, 2016 RAYLASE AG added Dr. Philipp Schön, Christoph von Jan and Berthold Dambacher to its executive board. The experienced managers will continue and develop RAYLASE AG's traditional strengths of customer focus, innovation, and product quality.
RAYLASE AG was founded in 1999. Since then, under the leadership of Peter von Jan (CEO) the company has become a globally recognized leader in laser scanning heads and material processing solutions using lasers. With more than a hundred employees at the company's headquarters in Weßling near Munich and the production and sales site in China, it is one of the world's best known suppliers.
On February 1, 2016 RAYLASE AG expanded the executive board led by Peter von Jan (CEO) with the addition of Dr. Philipp Schön (Strategy and Markets), Christoph von Jan (Operations), and Berthold Dambacher (Technology). Dr. Philipp Schön will take over from Peter von Jan as chairman of the executive board in the middle of this year.
Dr. Philipp Schön has been with RAYLASE AG since April 2015. With many years' experience as a director of a Swiss technology company, focusing on development of new business segments and markets, his duties will include ensuring the business's long-term customer and market focus. In this role, he will be responsible for marketing, sales, and the company's strategic positioning.
Berthold Dambacher is responsible for all research and development activities for the company's innovative components and solutions. Mr. Dambacher has many years' experience in successfully implementing and leading technology projects for a major global company, and has held a senior position at RAYLASE AG for more than 3 years with responsibility for developing products and bringing them to series production.
Christoph von Jan has worked for the company for 16 years and will be the head of operations. This includes production, quality management, finance, and all other central services in the organization. Mr. von Jan has previous experience in large <a name="_GoBack"></a>companies and as an independent entrepreneur.
